We had a wonderful stay at Santa Lucia Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were very friendly, and the location is excellent. This was my third visit to Istanbul, and I must say this is one of the cleanest rooms I have ever seen – spotless white linens, fresh scent, new mattresses, and tasteful design with a beautiful brick wall. The room had everything we needed: coffee/tea facilities, slippers, bottled water, towels – all perfectly clean. Excellent value for the price, and the staff’s kindness made our stay even better. Some guests mentioned the stairs and lack of an elevator as a negative, but for me, this type of building has its own charm – the stairs add character and beauty. It’s only a minor issue for elderly guests. I believe this hotel is perfect for younger travelers.

Fantastic Stay at Taksim Santa Lucia – Perfect Location and Warm Hospitality I recently stayed at Taksim Santa Lucia and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable – just a three-minute walk from Taksim Square, with easy access to local restaurants, shisha bars, and shops. Despite being so close to all the action, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredible – friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They speak excellent English, and the warm welcome I received honestly felt like I was being greeted by long-lost family. The rooms are clean, cosy, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: a comfy bed, air conditioning, a good shower, hairdryer, towels, shampoo, and body wash. The complimentary tea station and bottled water were a nice touch, and definitely appreciated. As a young man traveling alone from the UK, I felt completely safe both in the hotel and the surrounding area. There’s a taxi rank just a minute away, and the central tram station is only two minutes’ walk, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Overall, Taksim Santa Lucia is an ideal choice for young travelers and families alike – close to the vibrant social scene of Taksim Square, but peaceful enough for a relaxing evening. Highly recommended!

Good location though its inside street and slope downhill so if u have heavy trolleys this is quiet challenging for you. To get the bags to your room, the staff will help u with that. Staff was good, though they give me different prices for the airport taxi for different staff we spoke with.

Excellent location right next to Taksim Square. Responsive and positive staff. They explained everything and were always available when needed. They provided an extra blanket. The apartment was comfortable, and the air conditioning and all other appliances worked perfectly.

Our departure from Taksim Santa Lucia hotel coincided with a lockdown of Taksim Square due to May Day. Erhan went above and beyond to help us get to the airport. He booked us an airport transfer then when they were unable to get to the hotel, due to road closures, Erhan walked us out to meet the driver. We had to walk for about 30 minutes and he helped carry our luggage and find our way. Without him we would not have got to the airport in time. Thank you so much for outstanding customer service.

I stayed in this hotel since 2years ago I gave him arate5.8% but this time everything changed as they moved in another building the rooms were wider the bathroom was perfect with good warm water every thing was working okay and clean enough towels good lighting in the room the room was renovated mini bar in the room I stayed 6nights every day the room service cleaned the room and the price per night was really good the location in good area near metro and near isticlal street and Hava bus. the WIFI in the room was high speed . Mr. Omar in the reception was a nice smiling man and very helpful .The only thing which I missed from the old building was the elevator for me missing the elevator was a problem specially they gave me a room in the third floor for me is enough second floor this was my only complain
